Abstract
Inteligência artificial (IA), aprendizado de máquina, algoritmos, redes neurais, robótica e biotecnologia são palavras cada dia mais frequentes no vocabulário das ciências da saúde. Não se trata de uma ditatura digital e sim da incorporação da nova revolução tecnológica no cotidiano de pacientes e profissionais. São ferramentas que aplicam o conhecimento teórico e prático das Engenharias na vida das pessoas, tendo como modelo o Homem e a natureza. Essas ferramentas são portas que se abrem para novas possibilidades e que irão reinventar profissões e postos de trabalho.
