Abstract
RESUMO
A finalidade deste artigo é demonstrar a necessidade de conhecimentos técnicos, bioéticos e humanitários diante da exigência de uma adequada comunicação verbal e não verbal de más notícias em CuidadosPaliativos, seja em presença do diagnóstico de uma doença incurável ou na terminalidade da vida. Sem a finalidade de estabelecer regras para essa comunicação, o que se pretende é conscientizar profissionais e não profissionais sobre a ética da responsabilidade se sobrepondo à tradicional, aliando valores técnicos aos biográficos daquele que é cuidado.

ABSTRACT
A proper verbal or nonverbal communication of bad news is an important issue in palliative care area. The necessity of informing somebody about the diagnostic of an incurable disease or even a terminal life condition is a strong challenge. In this work this subject is explored, discussing technical, bioethical and humanitarian aspects without determining rules or procedures for approaching the patient and its relatives. The idea is to establish the concept of responsibility ethics, which overcomes traditional way of caring, jointing technical skills and the patient personal aspects. Keywords: Communication skills.
