Abstract
O presente estudo tem objetivo de apresentar uma revisão literária a respeito das influências da escolaridade materna e do nível socioeconômico no desenvolvimento infantil. Foram coletados dados e informações de estudos que enfatizam o desenvolvimento infantil nos aspectos cognitivo e motor de crianças de zero a três anos. Observamos que o desenvolvimento infantil foi significativamente influenciado pela escolaridade materna. Já em relação ao nível socioeconômico, os estudos foram unânimes, demonstrando que a renda per capita familiar influencia direta ou indiretamente no desenvolvimento infantil.

This study is aimed at presenting a literature review about the influence of maternal education and socioeconomic status in child development. Data were collected and information from studies that focus on child development in the cognitive and motor development in children from zero to three years. We observed that the development was significantly influenced by maternal education. In relation to the socioeconomic level studies were unanimous, showed that the family per capita income can influence directly or indirectly on child development.
